One major task for modellers is replicating good antenna bases and masts on model kits. Several companies have released good antennae bases in resin or ejection plastic, but replicating the antenna mast is difficult. Today's antennae are tapered and/or two part, so that using a piece of stretched sprue or a piece of wire is not satisfying.
Schatton Modellbau from Ascha in Germany provide an interesting solution for SEM 70/80/90 radio aerials used on vehicles of the German Bundeswehr. They deliver antennae bases with masts turned in brass. In a zip-loc bag come two very fine antennae, in a tube to prevent breakage. While not cheap, all the modeller has to do is to glue the parts to the model and be careful not to break or bend the delicate parts.
Highly recommended.
